Privacy Policy — Piquiyo LinkedIn Capture
Last updated: 2026-07-21
Piquiyo LinkedIn Capture is an internal tool for the Piquiyo
team. It reads your own LinkedIn post data from your logged-in
browser session and sends it to a Piquiyo-controlled ingest API so it can appear
in the Piquiyo back office.
What the extension accesses
- Your own LinkedIn post content and metrics — post text,
type, permalink, the post's activity URN (used to derive its date), and visible
engagement (reactions, comments, reposts) and impressions, read from LinkedIn
pages you are already viewing while logged in as yourself.
- A personal access token and the ingest URL you enter in the
extension settings. These are stored locally in your browser
(
chrome.storage.local) and are only sent to the ingest endpoint you
configure.
What it does with that data
- The captured post data is sent only to the Piquiyo ingest
API URL you set (a Piquiyo-controlled
*.onrender.com service),
authenticated with your token, and stored in Piquiyo's own database for use in
the back office.
- Data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for
advertising.
- No analytics, tracking pixels, or remote code are loaded by the extension.
What it does NOT do
- It does not read other people's private data — only the posts visible to you
on your own profile/activity pages.
- It does not access your LinkedIn password or credentials.
- It does not run in the background on non-LinkedIn sites.
